About Our Tutoring

Why choose us?
At TimeToThrive, we endeavour to create a passionate and safe space in which children are able to thrive in all areas. We use our teaching experience to ensure that we are taking all the strengths of classroom-based teaching such as co-operation with peers but also use our experience to fill the gaps that schools sometimes cannot, such as conquering any barriers to learning through striving to put your child’s interests at the heart of their learning. We know that children having fun and enjoying their learning is where the best progress takes place so we are committed to creating a hands on, interactive education for your children.

Why group learning?
At Time to Thrive, all of our tutoring sessions are delivered in groups of 4 children at a time.
We strongly believe that collaboration is key to helping children achieve, deepen knowledge and increase confidence all while progressing their life skills. It allows them to realise it is their Time to Thrive.
Why do we think that collaboration is key?
Collaborating and working within a group has a wide range of benefits for children as it develops more than just their knowledge, it deepens their vital life skills as well.

So what are the benefits of group learning?:

  • Gives children the opportunity to collaborate, voice their ideas with others and find solutions to problems together.

  • Develops their ability to work within a team which is a necessary life skill that they will carry with them throughout their life and can continue to help them in their careers such as leadership.

  • Allows children to work and show off their strengths, while understanding other people's processes and strengths, often resulting in more creative and fulfilled learning.

  • Develops children's communication as they are encouraged to discuss and explain their thoughts clearly while also listening actively to others.

  • It often provides motivation for children as they can see others being resilient and they see that they are a key element within the group and they have an impact on the group's learning.

  • As well as developing life skills, it deepens their social and emotional development skills through building confidence and self esteem, learning empathy for others and patience while taking turns within the group.
